Fairfield Police Arrest 'Adventure'-Seeking Oxford Man with Alleged Tumor

One of two men who allegedly broke into a storage facility has a tumor and wanted a thrill, they told police.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Two 21-year-olds, one from Fairfield and one from Oxford, were arrested on burglary and other charges Sunday after they allegedly broke into a storage building in Fairfield because they wanted an "adventure," according to police.

Andrew Moore, of Fairfield, and Luke Stepan were arrested following the 5 a.m. break-in at the Giants Steps campus on Barberry Road, reports the Fairfield Citizen.

The two told police that Stepan has a tumor and they wanted to give him an adventure, but police could not confirm that.

They were charged with third-degree Burglary, third-degree Criminal Mischief, Interfering with Police and other charges, and were released on promises to appear in court on Aug. 1.
