Update: Waterbury Man Killed in Route 8 Crash in Seymour

Wrong way driver caused the accident.

A Waterbury man is dead in what appears to be a wrong way driving accident on Route 8 North in Seymour, state police told WTNH News 8.

Belarmino Santos, 37, was killed, the station reports.

The crash was reported around 3:00 a.m., and northbound section of the highway was closed between Exits 22 and 23 this morning.
