
OXFORD, CT — The newly opened Rolando’s Ristorante & Catering had a kitchen fire occur Tuesday during the blizzard, the Republican-American reports.
The fire occurred around 1 p.m. at 340 Oxford Road and the fire was extinguished after 15 minutes. However, there was significant smoke damage to the restaurant and damage to the kitchen area.
No one was injured in the fire and First Selectman George R. Temple praised firefighters for quickly extinguishing the blaze and preventing it from spreading. The business had recently moved to its new location.
