Fire Prevention Poster Contest Winners

The Oxford Fire Prevention contest winners were announced recently at the Oxford Center School. Fire Marshal Scott Pelletier was on hand to give out the awards with the help of First Selectman George Temple, Deputy Fire Marshal Jim Gies, Ion Bank Branch Manager Kendra Hoyt and Candice Krueger from the Webster Bank. Deputy Fire Marshal Mark Krassner coordinated the event.
  The winners were: Emily Zibelin, Meagon Leung and Emily Pettinella (all from the fourth grade.) Winners from the fifth grade were, Samantha Lamontagnes, Yianni Constaninou and Melina Danlon.
