Fire Strikes 5 Motor Vehicles In Oxford

OXFORD, CT — Oxford firefighters extinguished a blaze that included 5 motor vehicles on fire, according to a fire department Facebook post. The Oxford Fire Department and Oxford EMS were dispatched to a possible structure fire at 106 Willenbrock Road at 6:45 a.m. Sunday.

They arrived to find 5 motor vehicles on fire with potential extension to the structure.

"A quick-fire department response minimized damage to the nearby structure," the post reads. "Great job by all those involved!"

Southbury and Beacon Falls provided station coverage.

The Oxford Fire Marshal's office is investigating.
