Fishing Rodeo Upcoming in Oxford

All prizes will be awarded at 10:00 a.m. and you must be present at that time to accept your award.

From Oxford Rec:The Oxford Parks and Recreation Commission and The Seymour Fish and Game Club will be co-hosting the Annual Children’s Fishing Rodeo on Saturday, May 12th (rain or shine) at Kirk’s Pond located on Rt. 67, next to the Town Hall.

There’s no need to pre-register. Fishing will begin at 8:00 a.m. sharp so be sure to arrive a little early to get your spot by the water. Prizes will be available for various age categories up to age 15. All prizes will be awarded at 10:00 a.m. and you must be present at that time to accept your award. This event is free for all Oxford children up to age 15. Parents may supervise but any adults seen fishing will be asked to leave.
