Former Oxford First Selectman Returning to the Board
Republican George R. Temple was re-elected as first selectman Tuesday.
Former Oxford First Selectwoman Kathy Johnson will be returning to the Board of Selectmen despite losing in her bid to return to the town’s top spot, the Republican-American reports.
Republican First Selectman George R. Temple, 69, defeated Johnson by a tally of 2,134 to 1,576, according to the Registrar of Voters office.
But Johnson secured enough votes to severe as the minority selectman, the Rep-Am reports.
