Founder & CEO, Dino Verrelli, receives prestigious Athletics Alumni Award from Roger Williams University

Founder & CEO, Dino Verrelli, has won the Athletics Alumni Award from his alma mater, Roger Williams University (RWU).

BEACON FALLS, CT – July 11, 2017 Founder & CEO, Dino Verrelli, has won the Athletics Alumni Award from his alma mater, Roger Williams University (RWU). The class of ‘96 graduate was presented with the award at the 2017 Athletics Award Banquet along with student athletes and fellow alumni.
The Athletics Alumni Award is presented annually to alum who have shown outstanding commitment to RWU Athletics and outstanding community service efforts post-graduation. The award is voted on by the Assistant Athletic Directors and the Athletic Director at the university.
“Since graduation Verrelli has worked tirelessly to help those affected by pancreatic cancer with his organization, Project Purple. The mission of Project Purple is to raise awareness, support patients and families, and fund research efforts to defeat pancreatic cancer,” said David Kemmy, Director of Athletics.
“His support and dedication to his cause and the Purple Project mission is something to be admired and continues to be a lifeline to many families that are affected by this awful disease,” noted Kemmy.
