Free Sledding Returns To Quarry Walk In Oxford

Visitors are asked to bring their own tube or flexible sled for the free winter activity.

OXFORD, CT — A popular Oxford shopping and dining destination is offering some free winter fun this weekend.

Quarry Walk announced its sledding slope is open and welcoming visitors on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The hill, located at 300 Oxford Road, is free to use. Guests are asked to bring their own tube or flexible sled.

The mixed-use development along Route 67 has hosted sledding in past winters, drawing families from Oxford and across the Naugatuck Valley looking for an easy, low-cost way to enjoy the snow.
