Garden Club Decorates for Historical Society

Twitchell-Rowland Homestead to feature Holiday decorations and exhibits

Oxford’s Twitchell-Rowland Homestead will hold its Annual Holiday Open Houses on Sunday, December 2, 9, and 16 and on January 6 from 2 -4 p.m. Decorated for the season, the museum is located at 60 Towner Lane off Route 67. This year’s special displays include a lighted winter village scene and a collection of French Nativity figures called santons, some over 100 years old. Admission is free and refreshments will be served. The 1755 saltbox was decorated by members of the Oxford Garden Club shown above. They are: Bill Sullivan, Mary Sullivan, Carmina Palarino, Diana Baumer and Eileen Davies.
