Good Things in Store This Summer for Kids & Teens at Oxford Library

Fun things are in store for kids and teens this summer at the Oxford Public Library. Kids and teens can win exciting prizes in the Summer Reading Programs.

For Kids:

Marti Milkshake, Frankie French Fries, and Gluten the Hamburger are leading their teams in a summer reading competition! Each team need 100% participation from members to reach their reading goal. The team that comes closest to the reading goal will win the ultimate prize-- a flashing Sweet Tooth Ring, because reading books is sweet!

All along the way, Frankie French Fry’s team members will earn yummy treats too! Kids can earn free snacks from Peachwave & Rodriguez Family McDonald’s too! Readers are limited to one prize per level.

Here's the rules...
  • Read 3 books = Mini Peppermint Magic Spring OR Spider in a Candy Box
  • Read 6 books = Ice Cream Cone Bubbles OR Hamburger Yo-Yo
  • *GOAL* Read 9 books = Plush Marshmallow Bunny OR Whoopee Cushion
  • Each book must be at least 75 pages long
  • Deadline to complete reading logs is Friday, August 1, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. 

For Teens:

The Oxford Public Library's annual summer reading program for teens began Monday, June 16. For each book teens read and record, they will earn a ticket to enter raffles for prizes from their sponsors:
