Belmont University, Nashville TN

  • Nicholas Kovacs and Emma McClellan, both of Oxford, achieved the Dean's List at Belmont University for the fall 2023 semester. Eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours (exclusive of audit and pass/fail courses this semester) and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C (inclusive of audit, pass/fail courses and zero-credit courses).

  • The Center for Community Engagement (CCE) at Eastern Connecticut State University provides ample opportunities for students to volunteer in the university's hometown of Willimantic. From supporting after-school programs to serving in the local soup kitchen and much more, Eastern students contribute in myriad ways to help alleviate many societal issues.
    Oxford resident Alysha Wedler, a senior majoring in psychology, is working as a CCE Student Leader this fall at St. Joseph's Senior Living Center and Windham Middle School as a Positive Enrichment Mentor.

Goodwin University, East Hartford CT

  • Thomas Palomba of Oxford earned a spot on the Goodwin University Dean's List for summer 2023. He is one of 524 students to make the Dean's List, reserved for those who demonstrate great academic performance. Dean's List inclusion requires a student to earn a minimum 3.5 GPA, the equivalent of an A- average, during a given academic session. The student must also be enrolled in a minimum of six academic credits to qualify.
