Help Raise Funds for Oxford Family Who Lost their Dad/Husband from Incurable Brain Cancer

Hi, my name is Lisa Hansen and I have started a GoFundMe page to raise money for Medical Bills for the Piorek Family

UPDATE: Unfortunately Brian Piorek passed away this past weekend. So please share this story with friends and family and help me raise money for a family in your neighborhood. Help me take away some worry about how to pay medical bills while they should be focusing on remembering their Dad and Husband.

My friends Becky and Brian Piorek with their two girls Meghan and Katie. Brian Piorek, husband, father, brother. October 2016 Brian was admitted to Yale New Haven Hospital after experiencing nauseating headaches, confusion and was not his "normal" dad and husband. After getting blood work, urine, and a head CT the Piorek's finally got their answer: Brian has a brain tumor. Brian underwent surgery to remove a golf ball sized brain tumor on the right frontal lobe of his brain. This is the part of the brain that effects personality, reasoning, and a bit of memory. Brian has Grade IV Glioblastoma, the worst brain cancer, and INCURABLE!

March 2017, Brian has stopped all treatments and has moved into the Masonic Healthcare Center in Wallingford, Connecticut where he as 24/7 care. All monies raised will be used for medical bills and travel expenses.

May 3, 2017 Brian is still living at Masonic Health Care and his family visits every day. The Piorek family takes it day to day with their only concern that their dad, husband, brother is comfortable and not in pain. No one should have to go through this nasty disease so please donate what you can, no matter how little and let's give this family a little less to worry about. If you can not donate, no worries, you can share this with your friends and family and maybe they can donate and pass it on. Lets face it - CANCER SUCKS!!

Please visit this site and donate what you can: https://www.gofundme.com/cance... or go to GoFundMe.com and search Brian Piorek. Thank you so very much!
