I-84 Detour Impacting Exit 25 in Waterbury This Weekend
The work will begin on Sunday, Nov. 8. Read on for more information on the times and exits impacted.
On Sunday, Nov. 8, from midnight to 5 a.m., I-84 will be closed at Exits 25, eastbound and westbound, to place overhead utility lines across I-84 just west of the Scott Road Bridge.
The rain date is Monday, Nov. 9, , according to a press release from the Connecticut State Police.
Motorists will detour from I-84 to local roads, and back to I-84, via detours at both Exits 25 WB and EB.

The detours are as follows:
- I-84 EB: Detour to EB Exit 25 off-ramp, straight on Reidville Drive, and reenter I-84 via the 25 EB on-ramp
- I-84 WB: Detour to WB Exit 25 off-ramp, straight onto Plank Road, and reenter I-84 via the 25 WB on-ramp
