Sunday, June 12th, 1:00pm - 3:30pm
This two-and-a-half hour yoga retreat in the heart of beautiful Redding, CT takes you on a journey of the senses. Starting with inversions, you’ll learn exercises to build the strength and confidence to go upside down safely. Inversions reintroduce us to our inner child and remind us that while yoga is a contemplative endeavor, the asana practice is also a time to be playful and lighthearted. Next, you’ll experience the flavors of the season with handcrafted, plant-based soups designed to boost your immune system, reduce inflammation, and delight your palate. We will conclude our afternoon with Yoga Nidra, a deep muscular, mental and emotional relaxation practice that helps to release stress, relieve headaches, back and chronic pain, while lowering high blood pressure and unhealthy cholesterol levels. You’ll leave the retreat with increased vitality, health, and resilience! All are welcome. No previous yoga experience
necessary.
