LETTER: Stop Towantic Power Coalition Will Never Surrender

The following is a letter to the editor:

To The Editor:

As a member of the Stop Towantic Power Coalition (STP) I have recently become aware that a person or persons are making statements suggesting that our organization has somehow surrendered to the inevitability of the power plant’s construction.

These statements were not authorized by STP and in no way reflect our position. I wish to make it clear in the strongest possible terms that they are completely without basis in fact. To paraphrase Mark Twain “Reports of our death are greatly exaggerated."

To our many supporters I say Keep the faith. This is an uphill battle but the hill does indeed have a top.
