Lions Third Annual Wine Beer and Food Fest

The Oxford Lions Club will be having its third annual Wine, Beer and Food Fest on September 17 from 4:00 to 7:00 at the Lions Club Pavilion at Jackson Cove Park. Attendees can sample a wide variety of wines and beers provided by the Oxford Liquor Shoppe. Food can be purchased from local area food trucks that will be on hand including Dad’s Food Truck and Uncle Willie’s BBQ. The Oxford Lions is a local affiliate of Lions Clubs International that supports a number of local and national charitable and community causes. The Oxford Lions provide an annual scholarship to a college bound Oxford student, volunteerism awards to Oxford middle school students and built the pavilion at Jackson Cove and donated it to the Town of Oxford as well as supporting a variety of sight related charities including the Lions Low Vision Centers.

Tickets are available from any Oxford Lions Club member or Bill Lund 203-887-5096, wlund@firstworld.com for $10 in advance or $15 on the day of the event.
