Lyft Driver Reports Assault, Threats From Passenger In Oxford: Police

OXFORD, CT — A Lyft driver reported being assaulted and threatened by a passenger in Oxford Monday morning, according to state police.

Troop A received a report from the driver about the incident around 4:10 a.m.

The suspect fled the scene and was later located deceased from self-inflicted wounds, state police said.

Police did not release any additional details Tuesday.
