The Oxford Board of Selectmen approved the replacement of Bridge No. 04913 Dutton Road over Little River. The project will cost $1.761 million and the contract will go to Guerrera Construction Co. of Oxford, according to meeting minutes.

The project is mandated by the state and is overseen by CT DOT. The state is paying 80 percent of the project and Oxford funds 20 percent. Oxford will pay $48,000 for consultant fees and the entire project will cost Oxford about $500,000, officials said.

The project won't begin until sometime after July 1, 2022. Guerrera was the low bidder, officials said.
