Negligent Homicide Suspect Appears in Court

following an October accident that killed a 23-year-old Beacon Falls man on Route 67 continues to make its way through court.

Salvatore Manganello, 36, appeared briefly Friday at Derby Superior Court, where his prosecutors said they want more time to speak with the victim's family and the case was continued until next month, the Valley Independent Sentinel reports.

Manganello was charged in March with negligent homicide for an accident that claimed the life of Matthew Mihalcik, according to Oxford Patch archives.
