OXFORD, CT — Meet Kelly Shpak a community all-star in Oxford. For the past few years, Kelly, has been collecting items for the military and has secured thousands of items and nearly $7,000 in cash. She was recently honored for her service by the Oxford Board of Selectmen.

Kelly, a senior at OHS, has been running a Military supply and donation drive for the last three years. This is to help an organization called, “Project From the Heart,” which is run by a group of retired policemen wives in Fairfield.

They ship out care packages to our troops overseas. Kelly set up donation boxes in various places throughout town and sent out letters requesting donations to local businesses.
