Monster Truck Park Pitched For Oxford: Report
Local residents and officials are not happy with this proposal.

OXFORD, CT — A proposed monster truck park for 20 North Larkey Road is leading to vehement opposition from Oxford residents and officials, WTNH News 8 reports. Officials and residents are concerned about the noise and they don't feel it's appropriate for a quiet, small town.
Thomas Beck is the man trying to bring the monster truck park to town. He said people would have the once in a life-time chance to ride a monster truck, News 8 reports.
The project is currently pending before the various land use boards in town.
