New Oxford Public Library Vote-November 3rd!
Facts about why Oxford needs a new public library space.

The Friends of the Library in Oxford are working to bring public awareness of the proposed new Oxford Public Library. The Oxford Library will be a modern community cultural center located across the street from Great Oak School on Great Oak Road. It will provide the Town of Oxford with much needed space for its popular programs for patrons of all ages. The new 10,000 sf building will be nearly three times the size of the current library, and will be a place where the community can access the latest digital technology and information in a wide variety of ways. The building will be designed using sustainable principles and will be a model of energy efficiency. Its interior will be light-filled, transparent for easy supervision, and constructed using natural materials that are easy to maintain. The exterior will complement the architecture of the surrounding community, using forms and materials that will fit harmoniously into the pastoral setting.
Features of the new Oxford Library will include:
• Separate children’s area • Area for young adults • Spacious adult areas
