New Oxford Restaurant Opens: Report

The new restaurant replaces Brennan Shebeen's​ which closed after two years.

OXFORD, CT — The Ole Dog Tavern in the Oxford House at 441 Oxford Road is now officially open for business.

The managing partners, Chris Delmonico and Niall O'Neill, run The Lazy Dog Tavern in Stratford, the Connecticut Post reports. At the Oxford restaurant you can expect to see a menu that includes "burger in the grass," pulled pork, steak, and several different kinds of salads and soups.

There are also plenty of appetizers including wings, nachos, and quesadillas. The new restaurant replaces Brennan Shebeen’s which closed after two years.
