New Oxford Website Not as Simple in Functioning, says Website Administrator
The website administrator has asked for a stipend as her workload has increased.

Oxford Town Clerk, Margaret West, has asked the Board of Selectmen for a stipend for her work as the town website administrator, the Republican-American reports.
According to the paper, West said her workload has significantly increased since the new website was launched. West added that the functioning of the new website is not as simple as everyone perceives it to be.
First Selectman George R. Temple told the paper the board would further investigate the matter.

The new website was launched earlier this month with the help of Massachusetts-based, “Virtual Towns and Schools”.
While West did not ask for a specific monetary amount, Selectman David W. McKane told the paper other town website administrators are paid between $3,500 and $6,000 annually.
