Obituaries: Joan Marcinczyk Rauscher

Joan Marcinczyk Rauscher, age 62, of Oxford entered in to rest Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011 at home.

Joan was born in Bridgeport, CT on July 7, 1948 daughter of Marie (Clayton) Rauscher Zellers and the late John Rauscher.

She is the beloved mother of Tammy Borkowski and her husband, Jay and Kelly Peterson and her husband, Hans. She also leaves five grandchildren, Sydney, Sage and Quinton Borkowski, Genevieve and Lila Peterson, three sisters, Linda May, Ellen Alfredo, Cindy Glover and several nieces and nephews.

Joan was a dedicated teacher, friend, daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. Her passion for life left a mark on the soul of everyone she met.
