Obituary: Dorothy Tacko

Dorothy Tacko, age 88, of Waterbury and formerly of Bridgeport, died on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at CT Hospice, Branford.

She was born on May 30, 1923 in New Orleans, La., and was the daughter of the late Anastas and Winifred (Davies) Tacko.

Dorothy is survived by her devoted sister, Catherine Kercsi of Milford, Ohio and her loving nieces, Deborah Kercsi of Oxford, Janet (Jess) Hontanosas of Cincinnati, Ohio, Michele (Asghar) Neysari of Milford, Ohio, Winifred Richard of Stratford, Trina Tacko of Derby, Liz Caterson of Monroe and several grand nieces and nephews. Her two brothers, George and William Tacko predeceased her.

A Funeral Service will be celebrated at on Tuesday, October 11 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment to follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport. Family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.
