Obituary: Grace O. Pacitto, 78, of Oxford

Grace O. Pacitto, 78, entered into eternal rest on February 17, 2016, at Griffin Hospital in Derby.

She was the beloved wife of 61 years to Peter C. Pacitto II. Mrs. Pacitto was born in Bennington, VT on May 6, 1937, daughter of the late Merton J. and Viola Jensen Olin.

An Oxford resident for over twenty years, she was employed in the administrative clerical office at the V.A. Medical Center in West Haven for twenty one years. Grace enjoyed gardening, knitting and most importantly time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Peter, she is survived by loving daughters, Bethany P. Conti (Daniel) of Ansonia and Wanda P. Horenian (Ara) of Oxford, loving sons, Peter C. Pacitto III of Beacon Falls, Christopher J. Pacitto (Carol) of Bristol and Terry M. Pacitto (Julie) of Southbury, cherished grandchildren, Jason Russell (Jessica), Paul Russell (Krystal), Amy McVay, Sara Tylinski (Matt), Angela Page (Thomas), Erica Pacitto, Heidi Lombardo (Matt), Holli Delaney (Chris), Caitlyn Pacitto, John Pacitto ( Valerie), Janet Lorancaitis (Bart) and Jenna Pacitto, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, John M. Pacitto, brothers, Noel and Fred Olin and sisters, Louise Cascio, Louisa Cross, Hazel Potter, Emily Thompson, Viola Gershaneck and Elsie Pellerin.
