Obituary: Marion R. Adams, 92

Mrs. Marion R. Adams, age 92, beloved wife of Charles G. Adams of Oxford, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Griffin Hospital, Derby.

She was born on July 16, 1919 in St. Johns, New Brunswick, Canada and was the daughter of the late Raymond and Inez (Abbott) Stevens.

In addition to Mrs. Adams devoted husband, she leaves, her step grandson, Christopher and her longtime friend, Mary-Etta Potter of Seymour and several nieces and nephews.

Her son, Glenn Whitehill and her brothers, James, Jack, Raymond and William Stevens predeceased her.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 22, at 1:00 p.m. at the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment to follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Oxford.
