Ralph Anthony Fico, age 57, of Oxford the beloved husband of Leanore Cianci Fico entered into eternal rest unexpectedly on Monday May 20, 2013 at the Ochsner Medical Center Kenner, Louisiana. Born in Greenwich on December 18, 1955, Ralph was the beloved son of Tilda Bologna Fico and the late Ralph John Fico.
He was a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle Church of Oxford. He was a graduate of Central CT State University, and was employed by the State of CT Department of Developmental Services as a maintenance supervisor. Ralph played an integral part in all aspects of his children’s lives, especially sports. He will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.
His loving family includes his beloved wife Leanore Fico, his caring son Nicholas A. Fico of Oxford and his cherished daughter Rachele Fico of Oxford, his loving sister Dr. Sandra Fico Charni and her husband Drew of Coral Springs, Fla., and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service in celebration of Ralph's life will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. at theMiller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank St. Seymourwith a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 733 Oxford Road, Oxford, Conn. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
