Oxford Board of Education Creates Budget Survey

Oxford residents are asked to take the survey to help school officials in crafting next year's budget request.

OXFORD, CT — The Oxford Board of Education is in the process of developing a spending plan for the 2017-2018 school year.

The Board has created a survey that is intended to provide all stakeholders with an opportunity to submit comments, ideas and responses to key questions.

The information and comments received will assist the Board of Education and Superintendent of Schools in developing a spending plan that is representative of the needs of the school district and the residents of the Town of Oxford.

The survey consists of questions related to general budget priorities, as well as some new programmatic activities. Most questions also have open-ended response fields to allow for additional comments/input.

The Board of Education has budget meetings/workshops scheduled in January and February 2017.
