From The City of Oxford: Boy Scout Troop 1 of Oxford attended the Board of Selectmen meeting on December 5, 2018 where Alan Rackiewicz, SPL of Troop 1, presented First Selectman George Temple and Selectman Scott Flaherty with this year’s town ornament depicting the new Oxford Library which opened in August. The ornaments are available for purchase at the Troop 1 Christmas Tree stand located in the parking lot of Fritz’s Snack Bar at 72 Oxford Road. The ornaments can be purchased for $10.00 each.
