Oxford Center Fire Company To Celebrate New Apparatus Arrival

The event will include food, drinks, apparatus tours and a look at the company's newest rescue truck.

OXFORD, CT — Oxford Center Fire Company is inviting the community to celebrate the arrival of Rescue 44 at a wet down event this weekend.

The celebration is scheduled for Sunday, April 12, from noon to 3 p.m. at Oxford Center Fire Company No. 1, 484 Oxford Road in Oxford.

According to the event flyer, the gathering will honor the company’s history as well as its newest apparatus. The flyer also highlights the department’s progression over the years, showing vehicles from 1994, 2000 and 2025.
