
Oxford – St. Thomas the Apostle Church is giving away cash. The Church, at 733 Oxford Road, will be paying out a total of $15,000 in seven all cash prizes for its annual parish raffle and major fundraiser of the year.
The first prize awarded is $10,000, second prize $2,000, third prize $1,000, followed by four prizes of $500 each. Only 2,000 will be sold at a cost of $25 each.
Tickets are on sale after all weekend Masses at the Church and may also be purchased at the Parish Office during the week from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and from many local merchants. Oxford establishments selling tickets include Brennan’s Shebeen, Brookside Restaurant, Cucina Rustica Ristorante, Fritz’s Restaurant, Nardelli’s Deli, Oxford Liquor, Oxford Lumber, Oxford Pharmacy, Oxford Pizza, and Rose’s Restaurant.

Seymour businesses selling the raffle tickets include Jimmie’s Place, and Village Coiffures and tickets may also be purchased in Southbury at Leo’s Restaurant, Senor Panchos Restaurant, Southern CT Dental Group, The Lodge Bar & Grill, and Yvonne’s Restaurant.
The drawing of the winning tickets will take place at St. Thomas Parish Hall, 733 Oxford Road, Oxford, on Saturday, November 15th at 7:00 p.m. Winners need not be present to win.
