Oxford College Student Named to Women's Soccer Team

Eastern Student-Athlete Rachel Videira of Oxford Named to 2018-19 Women's Soccer Team

The Warriors at Eastern Connecticut State University recently named 27 students to the 2018-19 women's soccer team.

Among the athletes is Rachel Videira '21 of Oxford, who majors in Elementary Education and English. Her position on the team is Goalkeeper.

The team aims to end the season as conference champions with an undefeated record at home and an average GPA of 3.3.

The Warriors compete in the Little East Conference (LEC), which was established in 1986 as a single-sport league by six public institutions throughout New England. The LEC has since become a multi-sport league with eight primary members, six affiliate members and 19 championships.
