Oxford Continues To Raise Awareness About Overdose Deaths
During a two-year period, 12 local residents had died as a result of overdose-related deaths.

OXFORD, CT β In 2016 and 2017, 12 Oxford residents died as a result of overdose deaths. Since then town officials have raised awareness by holding a candlelight vigil and by focusing on public education.
And in 2018, no Oxford residents died as a result of accidental overdose deaths, the Republican-American reports. Officials say this is great news but they vowed to continue to raise awareness and educate residents.
