Oxford To Crack Down on Smoking During Summer Concert Series

Officials are aware of smoking concerns during the concert series.

The Oxford Park and Recreation Commission is aware of smoking concerns during the Summer Concert Series and plan to do something about it.

According to meeting minutes from earlier this month it states, “The Jacksons Cove Sub-Committee also discussed the smoking issue at the Summer Concert Series. The Committee recommended that signs stating “No Smoking in Pavillion During Town Sponsored Events” be made. The Commission was in agreement.

Did you find smoking to be a concern when you attended the Summer Concert Series? Do you think the signage will deter smokers? Share your comments here.
