Oxford Democrats Select First Selectman Candidate

OXFORD, CT — You'll have three choices this fall when you vote for first selectman in Oxford. The choices are GOP Incumbent First Selectman George R. Temple, Petitioning candidate and current Selectman Kathy Johnson, and Scott Flaherty, who will be the Democratic candidate, the Connecticut Post reports.

Flaherty ran for state representative last year and is a bar manager. Flaherty told the Post he's looking forward to working with colleagues in a bipartisan manner if elected.
