The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:
Safely keeping our schools open for live instruction while following the mandates provided on the state level.
Critical differences between me and my opponents:
I am a passionate advocate for those who are underserved and under represented.
Accomplishments:
I began regularly attending BOE meetings when my son entered first grade. First to get acquainted with the process and players and later as an advocate for change. I became a member of the Oxford Parent Advocates for Special Education and worked with parents and administrators and staff to revamp the Special Education Department district-wide.
Other issues:
I am willing to put politics aside to work with all members of the Board to craft policies, implement them, and and judge the results.
What else would you like voters to know about you?
I will continue to work tirelessly to make educational decisions with the best interests of children in mind.
