Oxford Eyes Purchasing Colonial Tavern Property: Report
Town officials say they have plans for the site, if a deal can be agreed upon.

OXFORD, CT — The town of Oxford is looking to purchase the 31.5 acre Colonial Tavern property at 24 Hawley Road, which includes a restaurant, swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts, a gazebo and pond, according to the Republican-American.
If the town can strike a deal with the property owners, First Selectman George R. Temple said the land could be used for recreational uses and it would allow the town to have a town pool too.
