Oxford Fire Department Appoints Chaplain
The chaplain was appointed after the position had been vacant for a few years.

The Oxford Fire Department has appointed the Rev. John Donnelly, pastor at Christ Church Quaker Farms as chaplain, the Republican-American reports.
The position has been vacant since the previous chaplain stepped down and officials decided Donnelly was the right fit after meeting with him.
Donnelly, a pastor at an Episcopal church told the paper he looks forward to having a strong supportive relationship with the firefighters and the family. At a fire department, chaplains typically aid, comfort, and help firefighters and their families.
