Oxford Fire Department Battles Reported House Fire

"01:55 am OFD was dispatched to 500 block of Oxford Road for reported house fire. Car 1 on scene confirming working fire in single story wood frame and started mutual from Seymour, Southbury and Beacon Falls. Great Job by all OFD and Mutual depts on scene. Thank you to our mutual aid dept for station."

NBC CT adds that the house was vacant. The fire is under investigation.
