Oxford Fire Department Helps Battle Brush Fire in Seymour
Firefighters battled the blaze for hours on Sunday.

The Oxford Fire Department on Sunday evening at 6:30 p.m. was dispatched mutual aide to the town of Seymour while they operate a large scale brush fire.
Car 1, E-42 where at the scene providing manpower and Car 2, E-31 were covering Great Hill Hose Co. OFD members were assisting for extended hours to help contain the fire with SFD. Once controlled and contained OFD units begin to pick up and return to town. Great Job by OFD and SFD.
