Oxford Fire Rescue Helps Rescue Driver After Crash Thursday
One person was taken to an area hospital.

OXFORD, CT — Oxford Fire-Rescue reports that a motor vehicle accident occurred on Thursday as a car crashed into a pole. Firefighters had to extricate the victim and there were wires on the road at Quaker Farms Road and Captain Wooster.
One person was taken to an area hospital, Oxford Fire-Rescue reports. The road was closed Thursday afternoon near the accident scene by Berry Road and Hogs Back Road. Detours were put into place.
