OXFORD, CT - On Sunday the Oxford Fire Department responded to the 40 block of Thorson Road for a reported chimney fire, according to the Oxford Fire-Rescue Facebook page.
Firefighters reported smoke coming from the chimney and areas around it. Further investigation leads to an active chimney fire and smoke throughout the residence, according to firefighters.
Interior crews making progress on the chimney fire, which was reported Sunday afternoon.
