Oxford Garden Club Meets Next Week

A program called "The Contamination of Food by E.coli" will be presented by Dr. Douglas Dingman.

The Oxford Garden Club will meet on Tuesday, September 23rd at the Oxford Town Hall at 7:00 p.m.

A program called “The Contamination of Food by E.coli” will be presented by Dr. Douglas Dingman. A presentation outlining the many ways that food can become contaminated by this bacterium and a detailed characterization of this microbe and its disease.

Dr. Dingman is a microbiologist with expertise on microbial physiology and molecular biology. He received a B. S. and Ph. D. in Microbiology at the University of Iowa. All are welcome to attend. Non members will be asked for a $5.00 donation. In October, Tom Wheeler from Plumb Farms, will be offering a flower arranging demonstration. For more information, please call Joan at 203-888-3422.
