Oxford High School Football Coach's Future Decided
The Board of Education made a ruling on Tuesday night regarding the coach's future with the school district. BREAKING

OXFORD, CT — Joe Stochmal will be back coaching the Oxford High School football team on Wednesday morning. The Board of Education Tuesday night voted to accept a hearing officer’s recommendation that Stochmal not be terminated.
About 200 people attended the meeting in support of Stochmal, including many of his former and current players.

The coach was charged with breach of peace last December after he went to central officers and allegedly confronted them, upset that he believed his brother was forced to resign a job in the district.
Stochmal, who is also a teacher in the system, has been on paid administrative leave since the incident.

School officials have said Stochmal cursed at them and was out of control but Stochmal has denied those charges.
