Oxford Hires 2 More Police Officers

Both officers are retired state troopers.

OXFORD, CT — The Board of Selectmen voted earlier this month to hire two new police officers. The town hired Trooper David Hare as an Oxford Police officer.

"David Hare is retiring as a outstanding State Trooper and comes highly recommended by Sgt. Dan Semosky and other law enforcers," according to meeting minutes.

The town also is hiring Anthony Cipriano as an Oxford Police Officer and he too is a retired state trooper.

"Oxford needs more police to ensure school and town security, and Anthony came highly recommended by Sgt. Semosky and many law enforces," according to Board of Selectmen meeting minutes.
