Oxford Housing Rehab Program

Oxford Home Rehabilitation Funds Available

Does your home need help? The Town of Oxford is seeking qualified applicants to serve in its 0% Interest Housing Rehabilitation loan program. Eligible improvements include but are not limited to: roofs, furnaces, hot water heaters, windows, doors, septic, electrical, plumbing and ADA modifications. The Program--awarded by HUD and Connecticut’s Department of Housing--allows eligible Oxford residents to make needed health and safety improvements to their homes with 0% interest payment-deferred loans. The program is nearing its final months and is scheduled to expire in July. The Program requires no out of pocket costs and the loans are not required to be paid back until the home changes title. To qualify for the loan, property owners must satisfy the following criteria:homeowners must have at least 10% equity in their home, be tax current and have an income not exceeding HUD’s income limits for the Town of Oxford. HUD’s income limit for a single person household is $46,000.00 and $65,700.00 for a family of four.
