Oxford Looking to Crack Down on Solicitations at Summer Concert Series

There’s nothing more annoying than trying to enjoy a summer concert with family and friends and to have someone trying to sell you things during the performance.

Well that is what is happening during the Oxford summer concert series and officials say they plan to address it.

According to Parks and Recreation Commission meeting minutes, Director Deb Gatto was asked about solicitation at Jackson Cove during the summer concert series. Gatto referred the matter to the Jackson Cove Subcommittee, which is also addressing smoking concerns during the summer concert series.
